The machinist handbook are good for that but my DeskRef also covers electrical, automotive, construction, welding, machinist, painting, plumbing, & many more things. These are the ones I use the most but some of the other things shown in this book are also interesting & some times good when trying to remember some things. As I get older some times find this the most helpful part of this book.
