Found this gem about an hour down the road from me. What I believe to be a 74'. The serial tag has been removed from the tractor so I can only so sure. The gentleman selling it to me had an original owners manual for the 300001+ models. Had 12hp Koehler engine with electric starter/ not starter generator. Also had nuetral safety switch/ not to sure when they started using them. Does have the variable speed control but doesn't seem to be working properly. It came with every attachment except the snow thrower but I already had a brass tag 37a at home in the barn that had maybe been used a dozen times at best in its life. Tiller works great to although the bearings in the tines on it seam a bit loose. Deck spins like it was brand new but had had one kinda gnarly repair in the back right wheel. Even the snow plow was in collector quality condition. The Koehler runs like a tank still even had just been serviced at the local JD dealer. Best part of it all I paid a whopping $625 for the entire package

Not a bad deal . That would have been significantly more up here in Pa., Tillers are hard to find with good tines on them. Tractor looks like she needs a little love but very  savable and usable in her present condition. Nice grab.

The only real bad in the tractor is the hood but there are plenty of those left out there. The tillers seem the be coming out of the woodwork left and right here in northern il. Used to never see them but they all over now for between 2-300

Other than the chunk out of the center its really not to bad. Repairable if you had to.

Good luck with her. Restoring it or putting her to work ?
