The butterfly valve on my 100 cub was a pretty good amount of slop in it. Wondering if I need to find a another carb? Has the Kohler 241as in it. Where is the best place for parts? Thanks.

I have a #26 kohler carb here somewhere.Missing the bowl and float and needle but other than that it's complete. If I can find it I'll see if it's salvageable. Was pretty dirty last time I seen it.

If it's usable you can have it for the price of shipping.Shouldn't be more than $7-8 tops to ship in a small box.I like to wrap them up pretty good with bubble wrap so the box is gona be alot bigger than the carb lol.

I'll post a pic of it if it's usuable.

Aftermarket carbs aren't terribly expensive, sometimes less than the bushing kits. I just put an aftermarket on one of mine and have been pleased with it so far.

Is the slop in the shaft or in the piece that clamps to the top of it? If the slop is in the piece that clamps on top you can remove it and use a Dremel to cut the slot a little wider so I will tighten down more. I've had to do several like that.
