Went to buy blade, came home with two. Have G14. This blade fit?
Model 30242 Serial 0202695
19 x 42", it's tall for sure I don't have lift rod, what they look like? Thinking lift arm bent down lower. Upper bend seems right. So, need to bend till small bend is vertical?
These feet missing a part?

It ought to fit. The skid shoes look normal. Looks like the arm that the lift link attaches to might indeed be tweaked a bit. Could have been from rough handling. If so, a block of hard wood and a heavy hammer ought to persuade it back into place without much trouble. Good find!

Moved it over to tractor tonight. Seems mount spacing is wrong, UNLESS there is more little lock links or ???  The space on the blade is just a little too small to fit into the tabs on axle, and yet, not big enough to go outside either.  I measured my G9 and it seems the same, might be same axle even.  These DO go on the axle correct?? Guess I better look in the Manuals and see what is there.

Fits Medium frame or XL series tractors with manual lift.  Hydraulic lift has the lift bar under the belly.

Don't know what ST means, but printed all the blade manuals for 42" on site and think the tube frame one looks closest. They have the big left bar on it. Difference is in the way it mounts to axle. MOst have metal tabs on both sides of the axle mount and pins. Think if I use, will spread what is there now, add that extra tab and pin same way. A lift rod and should go. The lift bar also in same manual looks like just heavy flat stock, but has a slot for floating I see and couple places in back by lever to pin? I did not see my actual model of blade in the manuals section. All seem like same or similar blade section and only the mounting section is diff on the older ones.

The "ST" series is the smaller lawn tractors that Bolens offered from 1984 thru the mid 90's that had a vertical shaft engine, suche as the ST110, ST110 etc. The blade itself is the same as the original 42" Tube Frame blade. Only the hitch is different. The hitch is very close in size and quite similar and should be easy enough to modify and adapt to your G14.
