This afternoon I was giving my Grandson Case a ride on the Kubota. We drove past the dry cow feeder, where a cow had just had a calf a couple hours earlier. The calf was with it's Mom, but for some reason when we drove by, it jumped up, crawled under the hot wire & followed us all the way back to the house, about 1/8 mile. So we just let it follow & drove to the calf barn & put it in a stall. Was about as tame a calf as you can find. He let case just stand next to him & pet him. I called teresa on my cell phone so she could snap a pic as we came behind our house. Case sure thought it was neat that the calf was following us....I did too!

Pretty cool, Daniel. Seems unusual it didn't run away from the engine noise. Must of thought you were friendly folk. LOL Bet Mama wasn't too happy.

No, momma cow was NOT happy! Yes, I figured the noise would scare it. I had it running max engine speed too. Case twisted around to watch it until he saw Mamaw with the camera! He loves his picture taken.

That's cool Daniel, in the picture of Case I noticed he has a hat just like Paw Paw's. Isn't it fun having grandsons, you can enjoy and spoil them and then send them home when you want a little rest.
