Picked this up on Monday been standing outside of 5 years ran on one cylinder when last used definitely needs a set of tyres! Gave it a clean off and a oil up just to preserve it til I get around to restoring it overall very happy with it as these are quite rare in the uk

Nice that you found it and that you are going to try and save it - the weather there appears to be very hard on painted metal surfaces.

Good to see it gone to a collector who will restore it to its former glory. I was tempted but I got enough on my plate at the moment!

Think Dave got 6/7 Large Frames now. Thats why theres a shortage in the UK :D

With Daves 2, My 1 (ex Dave) & Iains HT23 we only know of 4 which so far have popped up in the UK

Any chance of getting you to post some pictures of your ht22 Dave? We don't get to see those here in the states. My curiosity is what are the differences between the ht22 and the ht20 or ht23's? I'm sure there's probably an ht22 in the United states somewhere but can't say I've ever seen any pictures of one. Thank you ever so much for posting pictures for all of us Bolens fanatics.

The HT22 is an HT20D with different decals and was only sold overseas.

If I remember correctly, one of those has surfaced here in the States.

From what I can find on the web about the Ht22d oldbuzzard is right apart from the decals they were the same as the HT20d
Is definitely going to be a fun project will keep me busy for many hours

I'd be interested in seeing what the dash decals on the HTT22 look like.

Are they the same as the HT20D and all in English, or are they like the HDT1000 which are in 4 languages?
