The other thing about the G11 is that it was a budget or economy Bolens. It has a 3 spd transmission (no Hi-Lo) with no adjustment in the differential. Also a plastic dash, no headlights and no ammeter. Same tough tube frame though.
Your old 1050 would have had a large nut on the end of the left rear axle shaft that would lock the diff. I'm not sure if the G11 has that feature or not.
