It's in really good shape, except it sat out side. I can't figure out why it was parked. Any one habe a pic of the correct muffler for these?

The muffler will be tough to find. I understand they are NLA new. And to find a used one that is good is getting harder.

I have a NH  S14 here that is  temporarily running a Kohler M12. When I 1st dropped it on there,  I had a brand new muffler (not quite identical to OE for that machine) and it sounded great, because it "didn't quite" fit, I had to put the old original one on and I think it's mostly burned out inside because it is slightly larger but sounds "tinnier"

Plans are to rebuild teh original 14 and put it back on there eventually.

Strange because it seems that everyone that has any parts for either the NH or the Ariens seems to have the shield that covers the muffler among their stash but no muffler....

I think that may be what this new one that I have and tried on mine that  was "close but not quite" It did have a Nelson PN on it. I know that there was more than 1 different "Cub muffler" used among the various machines over the years....

at the time I got that one I was looking for something else on Feebay and tripped on it/ didn't need it "right then" but had to grab it for the price....there are still some deals on Feebay but you gotta weed thru it to find them.... sometimes takes a while in itself, to do.

You said wheels and tires. What is wrong with your wheels? If they aren't all beat up or bent just get tires for them, they can be cleaned and painted easy enough.

The rims are rusted around the valve stem. I am pretty good at tire swaps and I put a tube in one and it took me over an hour to do it and some how pinched the tube. The button has been pushed, so new rims and blast and paint and new tubeless tires.
