'59 RAM freewheel pin

I can not get the freewheel pin on my Ride a matic to go back in, it moves but won't engage, HELP.

Make sure you have it lined up right.  If it moves, it should go in when in the right position. Push in on the pin and move the tractor slowly till you hit the sweet spot and it should pop right in.

I have the pin figured out, but the tractor doesn't move, popped the cap open on the case, inside I can see the shaft turning but power isn't making it to the wheels, any ideas?

My hubs where the wheels attach are just flat plates, or are we talking about two different hubs?

Sounds like you need to pull that cover off and see if maybe something is out of place or stripped out. Do you have a manual? If so, look at the exploded drawing. If you don't, go to the manual section here and download it.

Does anyone know the model number for '59, mine was determined to be a'59 by a few members here by features, my tag is gone.
