Ok, So I went back to the original ignition, put a new 20 fuse in, and the tractor wont register anything from the battery which is new.  No cranking, no lights, completely dead with the turn of the key.  Did I blow my stator, or coil, or regulator?  I was so close and now this.  Could POS ignition switch i bought from autozone have caused one of these expensive items to burn out and give me no response at all from the battery? Maybe there is another fuse I don't know about.  I am not very good with electrical components, but will have a perfectly working mower deck after parts arrive and some serious metal grinding and repainting.

Thanks for the help.

John

The ignition switches on these models were special and no aftermarket replacement, I stock all of them if needed I just hope something didn't fry with the auto store switch...... Outside of switches  may look the same but internals are different!

The G14 is a gear driven tractor
