I try to stop every Friday after work, you never know what could be there needing saving. Well this time around was a good one after weeks of not finding anything. Came home with a bolens handi ho in ruff shape that now moves me up to bolens tractor buy 99. The handi ho will mostly be used for parts. Also found a decent bolens tube frame deck just a little way down from the handi ho. Then came the big find the blitz fogger mounted on a wheel horse! Two years ago at the same junkyard I found the only blitz fogger known or ever seen to be mounted on a bolens. That one was mounted on a bolens hood only that was smashed along with the tank. I save as much as I could from that blitz fogger and I hope now that I have a complete unit I can make a good one out of the two. Plans as of now is to restore a 1050 down the road with a deck and mount the blitz fogger on that.

All our municipal junkyard/garbage dumps are "deposit only" now. We used to call it "going to the mall" and could find any amount of good stuff, lots of it thoughtfully left up on the edge of the pit in case someone could use a given item. Now there is watchman on duty and you can hardly look at stuff before he's marching over to hurry you along, dagnabbit!
