I just saw something on this. It said if you see this leave them alone, they are just honey bees protecting the Queen from the cold and the won't bother you.

I don't have many bees around here anymore. Lots of wasps but few bees. I used to mow my south lawn once or twice in the spring and then let the clover take over. When the clover bloomed I'd have one or two bees per square yard. That was 15 years ago. Now it is less than one per 50 square yards. I hope that a bee keeper can rescue your hive. Good Luck, Rick
Looked for a local bee keeper on-line, all I found were exterminators. Plan to just let them bee, and hopefully they will move on in a day or two. The grass mowing can wait.
Got someone calling around the bee keeper circles to see if he can find someone to come out. He is concerned that the temp is supposed to be in the mid 40's tonight and they may go looking for a warmer place like under my mobile home.
I was using BOH to tow a trailer for yard clean-up (after I found the bees) BOH picked this up in one back tire. Luckily didn't go all the way through.
Hang a box in a tree next to them. they'll move into it
