I am putting new pads on the G10.
The service manual talks about adjusting but not replacing.
It looks like removing the left rear tire and the seat pan would make it easier. Is that the way to do it or is it easier to remove the deck and do it from below.
Anybody have any experience with this?

In my opinion doing it from below is the best way to go.
The big brake pad that goes on the drive shaft drum is the easiest to replace. The other one (small one) on the transmission drum is a little more difficult. I take out the 3 bolts that hold the brake linkage together and then replace the small pad.

Thanks Brian
I am in the middle of it. The large one was easy and now with your help I think the little one will go much smoother
