Hey all does anyone know the difference between a S16 & a G16? Just looking at the photos online it looks like just the tin and the engines are different. I'm restoring an S16 and found a G16 online that includes two mounted tillers for a good price. Wondering what parts I can use.
Thanks
Aaron

G16 is probably a gear drive, the S16 is probably a Slush-o-matic !!!  :smilewink:    :dancingbanana:

Check our Manuals Section for the parts manuals for each. Compare parts numbers for each. I like having several of a brand. They keep each other company. Good Luck, Rick

The G series is the evolution of the S series, AFAIK.  I have never owned a G series, but from pictures it appears the basic G frame is based on the S series.  the G series has a stronger rear hitch setup, with solid mounts for a three point.  The G series Hydro uses a transaxle similar to a Jacobsen.  They were also available gear drive.  I also believe the wheel base is slightly longer on the G series, so while the tiller itself will interchange, the PTO setup for the tiller is longer on the G series.
