Hi this looks like a great place to gets some answers. I have inherited my dads ff/18 mower and have got it running again after sitting for 6 years. I have the manual for the tractor but not for the mower. So my question is there should be 2 lift arms that attack the deck to the lift arms behind the foot rest. Does anybody maybe have a part number or a place I could purchase those lift arms. Thanks Vernon

 Welcome to the forum. Here's the deck manual. Page 10 shows the lift for this and the arms. They are NLA from Sears. May want to check with our sponsors. The RH non adjustable is #3672J. LH is 2 parts, 3671J & 3673J. At least, I think these are the parts you seek.

 on getting your Dads ride going.
Kenny, any idea how long those are? They look pretty buildable.

I can get dimensions later. I have a pair off one of the FF/20's right now.

Here we go. They are 3/8" rod. RH is 8.25" total length. Slot is 9/16" wide by 3.5" total length. Bend at end is another 1.5".

LH is nearly the same, except the threaded end to level the deck.

Here's a few shots under my FF/20 at the lift. This is the LH side.

Another of the RH.

If you want to get where you can mow and not worry if it's level side to side, get some 1/4" thick strap. Drill a 1/2" hole near one end. From the center of that hole, drill a 3/8" hole. Cut it off about 3/16-1/4" past that hole. Make another just like it. The 1/2" holes are to hook on the tractor lift. Go to Ace hardware and get two 3/8" ID spacers 1/2" long. Pic up two 3/8" bolts long enough to go through and get two nylock nuts for them. That will let you mow until you can find these parts.

Have fun!

Kenny thank you so much. This is a big help and the pics and measurements will be at my friends machine shop to night. He always said if it's been made once it can be made twice. This is the icing on the cake. Thanks Vernon
