Coinman66 called me Sunday night and ask me what I knew about Massey Fergusons. Then he said he had a friend who had a friend who knew someone that had a Massey Ferguson 10 he wanted to get rid of and was I interested in it. Never one to turn down something free I contacted the Guy and he said come get it. Here are some pics of the Freebie

. After seeing it I tried to pay him for it but he wouldn't take anything for it. It has no spark so wouldn't start but I hope that won't be too much of a problem. as you notice in the Pics it also came with the manuals and a couple of Flyers. It is a 1970 and was sold as a demo on March 13 1971. Notice there are no rips or tears in the 47 year old seat. Also the nose piece has no cracks in it either.

I don't know anything about MF tractors, but I'd be willing to bet it was worth at least twice the price!

I have a MF12H & have seen a lot of these while doing my restore. This is probably one of the best originals I've seen. The seat, plastic nose piece, decals, grille, tail light, head light area, paper work & especially the deck very rare to see these in this shape. I would get it running, do the repairs & leave it as is. I would go as far as to remove the seat, have one duplicated or buy another one for it's purpose & store the original for future value. I would be afraid to sit in that in case it crumbled.

Nice score....I had a 70, good machine. They have the solid state ignition, which may be pricey to repair, but you never know, might just need cleaning up.
