Shouldn't the brake pedal be all the way down this is how it is in the first 2 pictures and I can't move the speed range past the first notch. Because it is hitting something. Is something out place can someone please take a look at the pictures and let me know or can show me what your looks like something not right or maybe it's just me😏👳😲😤

Jim,

I can't help with the brake/clutch/speed range lever but I can help you with the word "brake". 

Someone will be along that has experience with the model of Massey you are dealing with. 

I grew up mowing yard with a 12 Variable Speed, and I can tell by the pictures that's not what you have.

On the 12 the engine sits sideways.

I don't know system either, but have you tried greasing and spray oiling all the linkages inside or under tractor? Maybe stuff is just SET cause of non-use for winter and kinda stuck then?  Massey's I've had DO have some pretty complicated linkages and all need to move freely. Best I got!
