Hi all, about a week ago I tried starting the S12 it has been sitting in the barn since last Nov, it was a 45*F day it cranked good but didn't fire even once I figured it was a bit cool and hadn;t been started in a while so I went on to other things then yesterday it was 50+*F and I tried it again same thing cranked good didn't tried to fire was cranking and wonder whats going on this tractor/engine always fires right up and runs good, then finally the light came on TURN THE GAS ON Dummy, opened the gas valve gave it a minute to fill the carb gave it a try and it was running, I have to say those 12 hp Tecumseh sure run nice so today I I hooked up the trailer and picked up some leaves branches that I raked up into dumps.

Thanks for the laugh. It has happened to me, hundreds of times over the years. Good Luck, Rick

Been there and done that a few times as I make a habit out of turning off the fuel when I shut the tractor off - I am usually sitting in the seat and half way out the shop door as there is usually enough fuel in the carb to get me that far.  It is great to get younger - can't wait until I reach the point where I forget where I parked the tractor.

Nice to see you are getting some nice weather seat time.
