Picked up a Massey Ferguson 316 GTX the other day.  Does any one know the number of the Hydralic oil filter ,I see it's got a wix filter on it but the can't make out the number.I 'll have to take some picks [haven't done that yet] Siatic is bothering me so doing very little right now.Came with a 48" front mount hydralic drive snowblower.Needs some TLC oil leaks all over the place etc: Hood needs some work ,engine PTO seal leaks, seat is shot, some plastic needs repair etc. Going to go through it and get it all fixed up. I know Ingersoll made them for Massey 91-94 so it's basically a Case badged Massey. Will have to look for a mower deck and the rear hitch from off a case 444 or 448 .Want to use it for ploughing the garden and hopefully a smaller mower deck to get between the trees where my 60" deck doesn't fit.

I have a 214gtx. Plan to use it for mowing. Once I get out to the shop, I'll get the number off my filter. I recently replaced mine also. Love to see some pics

As for the mower deck, you need one from an Ingersoll 3000/4000 series. The engine is backwards compared to the 200/400 series and their decks will spin backwards. The rear hitch is good to go though.

Went out and took some pics. Snowblower is put away into a shed. You can see the hydralic control for the snowblower.Like I said going to need some work etc: Motor runs nice and doesn't burn any oil. The hour meter works and shows 469 hrs.

You actually have a complete front grill frame. Mines missing a big chunk. Seems to be common. Great find.

If I can't do it slow then it's not going to get done.

Sorry for taking so long. I'm using a Napa Gold 1348 filter. I believe it's the Wicks 51348
