Anyone changed out the bearing for a PTO flat pulley on a bolens tubeframe? My pulley locked up on the shaft.Ive drilled out the rivets and have the pulley halves separated.I cant find a bearing or a number to fit it.I measured it and it looked 1 inch OD and 3/8 ID but I was told bearings are in metric sizes. So if you have a number that you have used at say NAPA.O reillys,or advance I would greatly appreciate it.thanks

You can probably buy the whole idler pulley from one of our sponsors, for less than you can buy a bearing alone.

The idlers are sealed units and ball bearings are not replaceable

I stock the idlers below new $10.49 ,

Replace the pulley as a unit and be done with it.

You can replace them.  You just aren't supposed to

For the cost of the pulley, it isn't worth messing with the bearings.
