Northern sends me sales stuff all the time. Now they are showing this tarp/tent with the sides that can be raised for MORE room under it. I like idea you can lower for shade during day or when closing at night.  I have about same size w/out sides but is 8 leg, maybe little bigger tubes, not sure. My top is getting worn out. This one only has 6 legs and that kinda worry's me. I like to leave mine up at Portland show all week and not sure this one would be as strong to do that. BUT, it's only $189 or so, thinking I might get one. Any thoughts?  Here's a pix.

For that cheap i would risk it, and if it works, then it was well worth the risk

I have a little experience with the low cost tents and in my opinion stay away. The quality was very poor on the one we bought and it made the assembly a nightmare. In fact we opted to give it away when we left so as not to ever have to deal with it again. I suppose if your patience is good and you like saving a buck then just know what you want. Good luck.

Those bargain prices are not really much of a bargain.  Like Eric said, poor quality cover, thing wall tubing, Takes 6 people to put the darn things up.  What happens if the wind comes up?  By by tent.  Get a patio umbrella to sit under.  Movable with the sun, easy & quick up and down.

I have had good luck with HF tents. The last one I had lasted 3 years before I failed to go shake the last snowfall off it.

You can buy those " Fly's" and poles separately from " Garage in a box" to use with your canopy that you have already. We have one for our family reunion and have added to it . It was 10 'X 20' and now it is 18' X 40'. The bigger the better but as was said the bigger you go the more you have to put under it. LOL
