I'm looking at a few tractors and am looking for opinions from everyone. The first is a Kubota with 63" blower and snow blade. The second is a simplicity with 52" blower mowing decks etc. Need help with parts availability and durability of the two. Cost is a factor but in the end I'm looking for the most for the money. Thank you. Jim

I have no expertise with either but the Kubota is a 4x4 with a two speed hydro while the Simplicity is not. Also Kubota is still Kubota, I don't know if the same thing can be said for Simplicity or how that might impact parts availability.

Buy the simplicity.

Its cheaper, and is built better.

They mow alot nicer than Kubotas, and are well renowned for there superior quality.

Simplicity does still make there own tractors.

How many old kubotas do you see around compared to simplicity?

Just a thought.

Well... actually.... that "Simplicity" I'm pretty sure is Japanese import by Hinomoto (spelling?)I see way more Kubota's of this particular era than the Hinomoto's , they both look to be well taken care of, I'd go the with the Kubota if it was in as good of shape as it looks in pics.

You sir, are correct.

But, still dosent mean its not a bad tractor, but, i would go with the kubota, even though im biased torwards simplicity

Kubota maybe easier to get parts for plus it's 4 wheel drive. Not a bad price either. Just my opinion.

After having the 4 wheel drive in the Honda and Kubota I say buy the Kubota and don't look back. The only thing the Simplicity has over the Kubota is the mower deck. For me Kubota parts are easily accessable.

Not crazy about r ar blower, but for $1800 more, you get a lot. Still I like Simplicity and the locking differential and weight will make it capable, and you can more toys with the $1800!

They are both orange but you are comparing apples & oranges.  The only thing in common is diesel.  That Kabota will be twice the tractor the Simplicity is as far as capability & I too am a Simplicity fan.

Wouldn't give a wooden nickel for that backwards blower though.  They are a real pain in the neck!  Shouldn't need it anyway with 4X4 & that blade.

Cheers

I have been a Simplicity fan for near 50 years and can still find parts for my 45 yo tractor. There isn't any mention of a mower deck for the kubota and you get 2 decks with the Simplicity.
