Well hello all I'm new to the Gilson ownership. I thought I would take the time to introduce myself and the tractors on here. The tractors are a 75' Gilson gear 16 16hp shaft drive hydraulic lift. The other is a 79' Gilson gear 11 11hp belt drive. I think these models are kinda rare to come across well did I do good on my finds? Quinton

I have two myself,16 gear and 16 hydro, good tractors,if you're variable drive is still working try to get some grease in it,nothing else on these tractors to worry about, seems to be a lot still running

Thanks everyone! I'm just excited to get these back in to good looking/running condition. These tractors were built good back then.

just joined too, I have a two cylinder Gilson that looks simier to your gear 16, mine has HYD drive, I'm trying to find someone that may have the dozer blade attachment as I'm missing a piece one the attacment and would like a tracing so I could make it.

I would say it may look close to mine. Mine was the last year for the single cylinder 16hp 75'. I think I do believe they kept the style the same up to the late 70's then changed again. Pics of yours would help me out with what you are trying describe you need.
