Well, I feel for those south of me. As for us we are much cooler (78*) Overcast, winds from the east 10-20, and off and on drizzle / rain. I can tell we are on the extreme outer bands of the storm, but as for us it has been a break from the heat.

If I had a boat I would be going to Houston to help. Many from my area are. The weather has cleared enough here to allow me to do some sanding and painting on the belt cover.

Finally down to the last deck parts, the blades. These were bought new in 2010 and only used a couple times. The power coat had started flaking off so I decided to File sharpen them and sand / wire wheel the power coat and give them a good coat of gloss black. The top cover came out good, and I should be able to assemble this weekend.

Everything is ready for assembly, this goes pretty quick, but I have a full weekend already planned. Might get some done.

My video editor took a dump. Either need a new camera, or find a free editor that does .mov files. Youtube took the raw video. Here is the before deck picture, and the spare deck. Thanks Brandon!

I'll leave it stored here till the end of the month, then wax and install for the Oct show. Now I need to start another thread for the 50" Deck! Yes 50". Both Hulk II and BOH have 44" decks. When I put this on the bench I thought the bench shrunk. Got to measuring, yep 50" (54" over all without the discharge shoot). Measured the mount brackets, they are the same. Any ideas which machine had the 50" decks? I'll need to snag a manual.

Well I think we are ready. Only thing left is to convert the 36" Grater blade from Grey/Black to Green/Black. BOH will be my butt buggy this year due to the canopy.

Hey just wanted to say your work is inspiring- I followed your work here and am already into it a bit myself with my new old jd 112 and have taken apart the deck thanks to your example. Great job.

This is the last post for Hulk II Summer refresh. Why? Nothing else to do to him, other than take him to the show next Month. Thanks for traveling with me on this project.
