Nose is done, hope to have a first start video soon. It has to cool down some before I move him outside.

Some of you may know what this is, It is for checking blood pressure. The arm pad failed on this one, but it is capable of hitting 200 psi still. I found a new use for it! It worked great priming the fuel system. I placed the hose over the fuel cap vent and let it build 20 or so psi till I saw fuel in the filter. This way I didn’t need to prime the carb or crank it excessively. Here is the video of Hulk II’s start-up.

I got up this morning and weed wacked from 7:00 till 9:00 then jumped in the pool. Supposed to have a heat index of 102 to 107 today. As soon as I get some shade I’ll adjust Hulk II and get the hood installed and hopefully decals. Here is the heard.

Got the Governor adjusted and took for a test ride. Clutch not working, so I am installing the original (without the drive Idler adjuster). Not easy,

I fought the clutch, and the clutch won :wallbanging: Trying to figure out what's up with it. I swapped in the original clutch and it is worse! Even with the clutch depressed the belt is still tight. I checked the routing against BOH and all looks good, and I checked the belt, same one used on BOH. Taking a break for a few.

Guess I need a OEM belt. Put the old one on and it works great. Finished up installing the hood and decals, here is everyone fully clothed. Did I mention I hate deck belt covers.... Thinking of modifying this.

Just watched the video where you do the first start on H2. What is the green cabinet next to  your shop door?

Showing off a bit on YouTube. Have a couple subscribers there enjoying the videos, and gave them a teaser.

oops need to use Fire Fox to post the link.

Been brutal at work this week. Slow progress. Still dealing with a belt issue. Will take the Husky back for a refund. I'll check NAPA for the belt and get another Oil Filter for Old Girl. Got a bunch od carriage bolts and washers that I'll stop at ACE to replace. Cleaning up the rest of the deck hardware that will be re-used.

Hi Larry

I think we are in trouble with our belts, the green one you are holding looks to be a bit wider and not as deep in the groove, i have used rotary kevlar belts for years and the last 4 I have got for the suburban GT18 Tractors drive belt and deck drive belt is not worth the postage, put a deck drive belt on  and mowed less than an hour and the pointed part of the v is already frazzled up and it don't touch the pulleys, had one to pop in half a few days ago, called up rotary to see if i had any options on replacement of junk parts and they told me to see my dealer, well the dealer did not make these belts, guess like all the rest ROTARY has gone to china.

Have A Good One

Jimmy

The day didn't go as planned, but was a good day overall. the 110* heat prevented any outside activity for the most part. Loaded up the garbage this morning and headed to the dump. From there we went to Urban Air and spent 2-1/2 hours, he had fun! Then a trip to Harbor freight to pick up a hose kit so I can modify my 7 gallon air tank. It only could be used to air tires, now it can still do that and use a blow gun, and small air tools like the brad nail gun. We hit Witch-Witch for a sandwich and then  we stopped at Ace Hardware and got the correct carriage bolts needed to install Hulk II's bumper. He jumped in the pool for an hour (I don't know where he stores the energy) He is going back home with his Mom this evening after supper. :(.
