Made these for my wheeler plow. Used bed rail for angle iron so it won't bend so easy. Now I should be able to push more. made my own wing nuts for use when i have gloves on. Welded a bolt on the top for storage when not in use. I think putting one on the upstream side will help when angle plowing.

Very nicw job. Have you tried it out on snow yet? I was thinking of putting wings on my bucket last fall. They would have helped on the fluffy snows but probably would have bent or broken if I used them with the heavy stuff we had on Tuesday. Good Luck, Rick

Boyscout, we're having spring like weather right now but we can't count on spring until mid April. With some luck I won't have to try them until November, LOL!!

I made wings for mine but I removed the springs and installed rods to make it rigid and changed the angle of the blade so I could move dirt and not dig in too much.
