Stopped by a friends place to pick up a starter gear cover for 12.5 Briggs.  He wasn't up yet at 1:30 (Didn't really expect him to be) so nosed around the place a little.  Mower and camper junk yard is the only way I can describe it.  Under some time and what have you, standing on end I spotted a tandem pull type disk.  I asked what the story was behind the disk.  Just something he picked up.  For sale?  What will you give me for it.  I thought for a min and said $50.  Sound good to me as that is what I have in it.  Going to have to dig it out from a bunch of junk around it and get it home next week.  Frame is rusty white, blades, what I could see of them, we good and sitting on tin.

Got to remember to take the camera with me on these trips.

Picked up the tandem disc today.  99% sure it is a Brinly DD1000.  Not together right as some of the blades are on backwards as can be seen in the photo.  Real solid with no breaks though.  One blade has a small nick in it.  Now have to stop by and pick up a Brinly sleeve hitch plow we found out in the yard.  How that guy can keep track of what he has and where it is I will never know but he does.

The more I look at this I'm thinking it's 2 DD-500's.
