just picked up this db model number 917.57561 series 227. has a continental au8 on it. i was wondering if anyone can tell me the year and value of this tractor

they made thousands of them mass production, they really don't hold much value. they are neat to use I have one restored it gets a lot of attention

Around here they are advertised up to 300, 350. They aren't bringing that much though. A running one with an original engine and a decent hood is realistically 150 max with at least a turning plow. The Continental powered ones bring a little more.

I'm thinking the superpower hood is from the ones with a larger engine. Don't quote me on that though. I'm not positive.

I have three. They are fun machines. You'll like it.
