In my area these high wheel Case/Ingersoll tractors in excellent shape sell for that amount. Most are placed for sale for $1200-$2000. He must have a great neighbor to give him such a smoking deal on it at $3000 2 yrs ago! The paint is so dull and faded I doubt its been indoors much at all. Sometimes I wonder where these people get their prices! Now you will see several more field ornaments pop up because of that one priced ridiculously high!

That is where the ridiculous prices come from.  One starts it and a bunch of other follow suit.  The will still be listed a year from now.

He overpaid when he bought it. So now he expects someone else to overpay to ease his butt pain.
