I got a call from an guy this past weekend that said I might have something you might be interested in. I have a sickle mower and mower deck for a GE mower. To say the least he got my attention! I picked it up this evening 40e980f1bd07a29453e304ca32e881a1.jpg40a0846e735b2ab985cf7adbdc71631f.jpgacf149fb2209d78e8cb3653f8dc4e13f.jpg1d5b7937724173c6c027212f915317a9.jpg37a802709c381610872ca78d4763883c.jpg

Looks great! I like the electric drive deck, sure beats complicated belt drives. Is the sickle electric too?

Nice find Scott, one of the harder to find more desirable attachments.

Pretty interesting story. He bought these pieces at a yard sale 15 years ago. He was going to try to convert the sickle mower and deck to use on one of his small tractors. Hence the incorrect piece on front of the frame. I am not sure he has ever seen one of the GE tractors. Comparing the pictures I took to the diagram, I believe I have every part for it but 3 pieces. It's missing the cover for the pulley belt area, a spring, and the other end of the electrical cord. Probably have to get the cover made. One pulley will need to be replaced. I suspect in the GE world, this is a pretty rare piece. Deck looks to be in really good shape, just missing the casters. It will be used on my 12S.

Today's pictures in the sunlight and dry. 18deecff76f85456797f1ddbbf508702.jpgfe6c25a674e5bb6dcb8f3aa05a39c779.jpg2f78fcf98ad05135ee766e8495e8f73a.jpg4ef7ded960b37bce2170c952a69456c4.jpg

Looks like I may need to replace two pulleys. But being as complete as it is, i am pleased with the deal.
