I have a spike tooth harrow I'm fixing and fixing up. From the picture is it obvious what they wanted to use it for.  I'm wanting if for my DB however.  Could someone provide me with the length of the hitch arm?  It would be easier than trial and error.

I don't know what these are supposed to be painted, but I'm going with  IH-Red.

Also, is it typical to see this cast piece cracked?  Should I worry about fixing it?

I do plan to use these as they were intended, but I also want to take care of them (DB + Attachments in general).  I'm not looking for museum looking/quality, but I do want solid functional quality and I want to complete them as original (function and looks) as possible.

Thanks!

If the cracked piece has pressure on it when using it, I would get it fixed. If the cracked piece breaks and you lose the piece, it will be much harder to repair and keep original looking. Just my opinion.

From the vertical flat plate which the roller is attached to to edge of the hitch pin is 29" holding the tape at the bottom of the pin to a few inches up on the vertical plate that's about straight across
