I have a question, on my snow plow mount,in the back,on top of the mule drive looking part is a big bolt. anybody know what its for? also does the mount lock into place when you slide it into the tractor? mine seems to have a lot of up, down slop. the little pins on the side of the mount were wore so I welded them up, ground them back to where they were when it was new. that helped a bunch, it seems like I can pull the blade mount out quite a ways.the pins on mount are almost at the end of the tractor frame.

The blade should be held in place with the bars going to the front axle tabs.

Some of them like the one I have takes to short bolts in the front of the mule drive. There is a slot in the plow mount . I have the speed hitch one you don't see them too often. Yours may take bolts in the slots also. Then my plow goes on that backing plate with two pins

If you zoom in and look under the lower grille you'll see a bolt in the one side of the mule drive .

Yeah it's different than mine tecumseh. I am still farting around with the blade digging in when it is turned to extreme left and right.when the blade is on the floor turned extreme left or right there is about a 2 inch difference from one corner to the other. I don't remember it doing this early in the winter, it does now and drives me frigging nuts.the blade sits flat all the way across when it is straight ahead

Were you ever able to get this figured out? Mine has two extra bars that I believe were made by the previous owner, yours might need something similar...

The blade should be held in place with the bars going to the front axle tabs.

Here's a couple of picks of one of mine that shows the bars and the slide plate. bars definitely go to the front axle tabs.
