AYP garden tractor I got it for the kohler powerplant sitting other the hood. Paid $50 I can probably part out the rest and make my money back.

Got a little sunburn but not beat up to bad.  You should do OK with that one as long as the power plant is OK.  Good score.

Let me know if you plan to part it out, that 50" deck looks like it might fit Hulk II.

I most likely will. I would rather use the engine in one of the sears.

Carb is shot and in a few pieces where someone who didn't know what they was doing worked on it. But it will hit on fluid so I guess that a good sign.

Other than the steering wear, those AYP tractors from that era were decent, basic tractors. I put a Johnny Bucket on a GT5000 and beat the hell out of it for over a year when we built this house, building walkways, flower beds, moving stone and top soil, leveling the yard, etc...
