Need more info. This a trans-axle or 3spd BW or something else?  Borg-warners are known to lock up when shift lever ball end wears and drops between two gears on shafts.  Can remove top of trans and reposition forks and set back on to see if works.  May work after or may just jamb again when using. Easy fix building up the end of shaft with weld and shaping. See the Power King group here for that info. IF, a trans-axle, still might be shifter wear, but think you would be looking into more tear-down to find exact problem. How about a pix of this one.  I'm not familier with model. Have had 1040, not 11. Briggs?

Was just re-thinking.....the 4 in model should mean it is 4 spd and is thusly a trans-axle if I recall. Would need a little more exploring to fix that I belive. What's the price on this?  Would have to be cheap for me to buy, but I"M cheap anyway, heh!

The implements are probably worth at least $300.  Not sticking your neck out much on the package at $400.

Yeah, don't look too bad. Think it's worth that with rest of stuff.
