That sir would be a Bob-a-lawn, it does appear to have a replacement motor as previously said, it is supposed to have a REO motor if im not mistaken

That's correct   and I use to own one

The ones near me had Johnson Iron Horse engines

I have quite the collection of Johnson Iron Horse engines

I have a lawn boy with an iron horse, two cycle, and a REO reel mower, with a REO engine lol, pretty nice machines, they work good and are way better than pushin!

If you don't mind a real fast walk or slow jog behind the thing

Boy they are quick

I have a Maxwell With Iron Horse engine

 

But anyways

 

The engine in question appears to be 2 cycle

Looks fairly new

I'm guess a Japanese knock off

that would be my guess, and on the topic of jogging lol, my planet jr you have to run with just to keep up! seems really impractical
