Picked this up yesterday , was going to the scrap yard so for $15 couldnt resist. Originally I wanted the air cleaner and recoil off it as they will fit my Bolens saw but dont want to take apart this machine until I know more about it and I'm not destroying a collectable item.

Cant find much online about them

I have 2 newer versions with the 3 horse, 2 cycle Tecumseh.  Used to use it a lot to cut trails on FIL's hunting farm.  The one I used had a 3-prong saw blade and it would glide right through saplings.  Mine are the curved shaft - I see yours is straight shaft.

Tore my back up at work in '06 so I know its not been started since then.

We called it the "Man Killer" and that's when I had a good back!

I also have the post hole digger version and the string trimmer version on a framework with one wheel.   All have the 2-stroke Tecumseh.
