sears transaxle

 have a transaxle from a late 70s sears st16. does anyone know what other models it will fit? it has hi lo

It will fit all of the suburbans and most of the Customs.Have to swap out the pulley,belt guide and possibly unscrew the Hi/Lo leaver rod and put the older style short one in.

 

It will also fit in the square fender 10/6-14/6 and GT16 and GT18 And most of the 80s to 2000s square body GT3000-GT6000 tractors but you might have to swap out the shifter.

 

 

I put a 14/6 transaxle in a SS14 and a older Suburban 12 transaxle in a Sears Custom 10XL.Both Mounted up and worked no problem.

It will also fit the Roper's. With axle spacers it will also fit the Older Craftsman II's I have one of each for spares.

If you put it in a square body gt18 or 16 or a craftsman II you need spacers and need to swap the pulley the suburbans pulley won't line up right
