Hi, I like LED's for there low power requirements and long life but have not been excited about the looks etc of most of the ones for headlights I prefer the original look on the PK's but this may be an option for not only Pk's but other makes that use the par 36 12 v bulb  the price is more than I like but if they last 2x as long its competitive

Yes, par 36 is.

Another option is a par 36 bulb housing that you can place whatever bulb you want into.

Never heard of that 'par 36' before. Alice has 4" bulbs in a rubber housing, so I may be able to change those out!

Looks like those will fit right into the headlight buckets of my Homelites! Par 36 is what they take now. At $ 14.95 that might be in my budget. I have been looking for a long time for something like this. MNGB if you  get these let us know how they work and how bright they are at night.   Thanks                   Roger.

Par is a reflector style bulb and the 36 is the diameter in 8th's of an inch. 36/8 = 4-1/2"

To most folks, its par 36 ,
4.5" bulbs not 4", but MOST PEOPLE KNOW THEM AS 4", and YES DJ Equipment bulbs will FIT, BUT not 12v. Once you know what ur looing for, THEY will be cheaper by name, example, Par 64 etc..., and no, I wasn't yellingin my post, just stating the truth:)

Kenny are you sure they are not 4.5"?  Par 36 is a very common sealed beam on GTs

Never hook the lights up on a my Gt's.  If I can't get it done during daylight it will wait till tomorrow.  If it don't,  oh well.

Saw a PK for sale with this type light in the holders and was wondering where he got those. Neatest part is the wire connectors. Has screw for loop ends AND a square end for push on connectors. That is type I buy now days for my tractors, they fit whatever wiring is in them without changing ends.

That's half the cost of what Home Depot wants for them.
