Another one of my finds. I paid just $20 bucks for this thing. I bought poured gas in it, and it ran great. Shredded a belt within a day of heavy use cutting atv trails. I put a new belt on it, and it ran great until this fall, when it started running at max throttle all the time, even on slow throttle. The cable works, I'm thinking the carb needs to be rebuilt. I looked inside the carb, and the choke, throttle, all seem to work just fine. It just revs up really high. I feel like it will explode. For the price, it will be worth getting going again this spring. I can't even buy a push mower around here for $20.

Check the manuals section, It might tell you how to fix it before it scatters. Don

Sounds like one of two things to me: you are running lean from a blockage or you have a governor problem.

I will pull the carb apart this spring, and clean it out, and see what happens.

I would bet governor problem, maybe just a spring or linkage wore off and fell off?  OR, kinda weird, but have seen throttle plates bend or break off the shafts and whole shaft and assmebly is jambed into wide open stance. Engine ate screws?  or hopefully just sheared off and still in there.  Just a thought.

What are the 2 .html's? I tried to open them and got nothing.

I suspect the governor also. Good looking LT though.

Those 2 HTMLs should be manuals, but I guess the link doesn't work.

PDF is the best way to have them. I might be able to help convert them.
