He calls it a "loader tractor", which I would assume is a 64X, but it looks like a 44X to me?  I don't know jack though, so can someone here tell for sure what that is?

WAS nice tractor, but now has a Chinese engine in it it looks like. I thought all the Case 600's had loader mounts built right on, not removable?? Or, just a 400 series?  I don't know my models, really can't help ya. Does it even Matter now that it is changed engine??

What engine does it have? That can be replaced.

I looked up some photos. That doesn't have the mounts for a loader and it doesn't have the right front axle; probably a 446.

I would just tell the guy it doesn't have a loader and doesn't have the right engine and what's what. Tell him you'll give him $300.

Looks to be a 444 or 446 with a little tiny Chinese engine. It is possible to put a loader on a 444 as I have done it but you are better off with something heavier like a 646 that is purpose built as a loader. By the looks of the exhaust system it should be plenty loud and that unsupported exhaust stack should be good for a couple days before it breaks off.

Has the cutouts in the hood for the exhaust exit from the onan.

That makes all mine loader tractors, right?

My best guess is a Case 446 or similar model

WOW!!

I never realized I have over 100 loader tractors.

'Course I have no loaders, but still......

Putting that Chinese engine in place of a Kohler or Onan  should be a crime.
