The float on my Zenith L80 carb broke in half (again). The carb is on a TR10D engine, and actually should be an L63 if I'm researching this correctly. I either need another float for the L80, (which seem scarce as hen's teeth), or a working L63 carb if anybody has one lying around.

Thanks in advance!

Is that a brass float?  If it is get the pencil soldering iron out and have at it.  Been thousands of floats repaired that way.  If it's plastic,, might have to do some hunting to find an adhesive that will stick to it and stay.

The floats on the L80 series were a composite plastic like material

I checked your site first, and saw you were out. There are a couple on ebay, but I'd rather buy from somebody here if someone has one lying around.

Chieffan, I thought about trying to "glue" it, but I'm not sure if anything will hold immersed in gasoline. The break is fairly clean.

I believe he has L-80 float as well and I know he has carbs and parts for Zenith & Walboro carbs on the S-10, S-12 & S-14 engines as well.  No
