I bought this yesterday and trying to figure out what I have. Looking over the piece and I can't find a plate. I see it has a Cole hopper. The cultivator it's sitting on is a emblem I've never seen before.

I can make out the last 2 letters and that is TY. Yes I realize It's painted but I thought maybe someone would recognize the design of the emblem.

You could try a little bit of rubbing compound on a cloth or some really fine steel wool - it may take the layer of paint off of the decal - just be careful you do not get too aggressive.

Oven cleaner removes rattle-can paint.  Be gentle until you know if it removes decals too.

The harsh kind - not that "fume free" crap
