Can anyone tell me the model please. I thought it was 1050 or 1053 but the hood doesn't have the cut out for the breather
Welcome to GTT.
Not trying to nit-pick here, but the hoods were never cut out for the breather. ....The cut outs were to provide clearance for the exhaust/muffler.
I'm just trying to help with correct terminology to avoid confusion.

IF it's a model 190, that would make it a 1000, which would have had a 'round' hood.
Does your tractor have a 'round' hood or a 'square' one?

No, it has squared hood. Tecumseh XL (16 squared) on engine if that helps. Will send pics when i go to shop later. Black Jack Jake are you the same one on Ebay? I ordered some clutch plates (hope they fit) from someone else and i hope they fit. Next time I'll order from you
Yep,that's me,no problem,waiting for pics

That would indicate that it's a 1220 which should have a Tec. HH120 engine.
