I am almost finished restoring my 1968 Ford 120 Lawn tractor.  I have owned it since 1987.  I stripped it down to the last nuts and bolts and restored every part.  All parts on the tractor are period correct.  The engine was taken down to the block and rebuilt from the ground up.  all metal was stripped of all paint, sprayed with primer, and then painted Ford blue or Ford white.  The only thing left to restore is the seat pan and seat cushions.  Take a look at the photos and let me know what you think!

Looks great. Nice job on the paint. Where did you get the original lookin front and rear tires, or were they all ready with the tractor.

Great job on the restore!  Looks Great.  Nice hub caps too.  Did you have those before the restore or were you able to find some?  You don't see them very often, especially in that condition.  Very nice tractor.

Doug

Man that is fantastic. Wish I could keep you in my garage as a consultant as I work through my '68 Ford 100. Really nice job.

Hi Noel,

Thanks for the compliment.  Actually it took me months to find the original tires.  I actually had to buy a whole tractor that needed other work because the correct tires were on that one.  You cannot purchase new tires like these.  They have been discontinued a long time ago.

Hi Doug,  Actually the front hubcaps are true originals!  They have the indented logos in them!  I found them on ebay and i outbid everybody at over $200.00.   The rear hub caps are the chorme moon caps with ford decals on them.

Nice restore!

Yes,  I took the tractor completely apart.  All the parts were stripped, primered, and sprayed with 3 coats of paint.  Of course I used the proper "Ford Blue".  lol
