I know others will disagree, but the 62 is my personal favorite. It might be ugly, but it is unique and bold and I love it. I like bold ugly classic cars too. The foot rests don't bother me much as it looks like they did a nice job with the install. Need a better picture of the corner of the grill to see if it is actually broken or just the cutout missing. This is one I would buy if I could. I personally don't understand why it's not sold prior to landing on ebay.

The parts manual for the 1962 RAM's shows a  # 1713609 Grille Plate which is removable to allow the belt for front-mounted attachments to exit the grille.

The grille in the picture does not appear to be broken, as it seems to be a nice, straight line.  ....It may have been sawn off sometime in its life.

Is it possible a production change was made in later models to eliminate the Grille Plate by altering that part of the grille?

This has been on off craigslist and ebay for well over a year I search ride a matic country wide every week so I've seen it a bunch....    Same old photos used every time. Owner even states that its been sitting out side and it starting to show rust.  I seen a post on another group stating its not as nice as it looks.....     Just pointing out the things I know..... Photos can always make things look better that is why I don't talk money till I see it in person....   Not talking the tractor down but informing a could be buyer...

If the guy post the serial number of it I can confirm if the grill has been broke.   I never seen a 62 with that much of the side of the grill missing next to the slot for the snow blower belt.

I've not seen a grille like that, either.   ....Do you have paperwork indicating an engineering/production change?

I think it's pretty "cute" with the headlights. I'm tempted.
