yeah thats not bad at all, not too often you find these with all belt guards and even the original style muffler.

Besides the holes drilled for the lights , and added on Tubeframe foot rests its a 100% original machine.

The carb issue is likely the bad gas, look at the color of those filters LOL

Not being Bolen's fan, but kinda liked those old cast iron grills on early ones, but have to say.....this is one of the Ugliest ones I've seen!  That hood and grill look cheapy and what's with those lights?  Does have nice lift on back and hitch. Looks like a nice rig. What year is this design?  Bet it didn't last long. It's kind of a between model changes look to me.  Sorry! Just giving diff side opinion. :smilewink: :poke:

Alot of people call this one the "Ugly Bolens" , and I have to agree its probably one of the ugliest models they made but for a collector its part of history and needs to be shown off.

This was a 1962 and was the last of the series, these were available the same year the Tubeframe line with the Husky 600  was unveiled.

The headlights really help the grille look better.   I'd leave them even if not correct.

Its so ugly you got to like it. It reminds me of one of the charactors from the cartoon Cars. That looks to be well worth the price to me...like mentioned a good part of history.

This one has been on CL for awhile , I haven't seen the ebay one before. My guess is headlights are period correct (?) wonder if they were a listed option or it was left to the dealer. Gold paint seems to match tractor.

From what I understand they were optional equipment and dealers/ people would just install them wherever they wanted.
