A guy up the road had this 314 siting in his yard for the past few years. I finally got around to asking about it. For the grand total of 50 bucks I got the wheel horse the deck and a murray rider. Brought the 314 home checked the oil put a temporary gas tank on till I get to clean the one it has added gas and it fired right up. It runs and drives great. Only thing I have to check is he said it was burning ignition switches. I disconnected the engine from the tractor harness to run it until I check it. I'm thinking it has a short or bad ground. Tractor has 600 hours on it. He bought it new. I will be painting it this month and will post more pics. Motor was no good on the murray. I already took it off I'll throw another one on it and sell the murrary to fund the hobby. Sorry about the sideways pics

I think so , I had it jacked up and had the rear fenders off to check everything out I didn't see any mechanical problems. I wanted to check the hydro linkage and stuff. All looked good. I'll get the wiring done and off to paint. Even had new belts on it.

Wheel horses are nice, before taking my plunge into sears I dabbed a bit into wheel horses and simplicitys , almost traded my horse for a sears, but the guy was trying to snake me so I ended that real quick. I have been wondering if wheel horses would have been easier to collect I seem to find more of them then I do sears , but even one wants to much for their horses.

Agreed on prices, same here. I got mine mainly due to customer knowing I'd buy it. Paid fair price but love it for my yard. Figured I'd keep it as it's hard to get another!

For fifty bucks you stole that Horse! The first year for that 314-H was '93 so it's fairly new in garden tractor terms. A little TLC and it should last you a very long time. Good find.

Great find. I wish I could find a horse around here for that price. You're going to love them.
