Had a 20% off coupon, so made the trek to HF. Needed another 10 lb. spool of welding wire. It's <$30 there compared to $65 elsewhere. Got a Micro Torch. Also a 24" combination square, been want one of those for a while. And I picked up an infrared thermometer. It's not in the pics though. Got a free trap too, 5'6" X 7'6".

My favorite store. I like the mig wire I use it also. And always grabbing a tarp too! Got to use those free coupons

Those non contact thermometers are really nice. There is one thing tho, I've found them to be more accurate if they have acclimated to the ambient air near where you'll be testing.

If you keep it outside and want to use it outdoors, best to get it outside for an hour to normalize.

I get those HF coupons also but the store is 1-1/2 hours either direction, West to Omaha or East to Des Moines.

Nice purchase. Closest one to me is 4+ hours away. Guess I don't spend a lot of money there that way.                                                             Roger

Mine is in Tulsa, about 20 miles. I plan my trips there.

I have an older Snap On infrared thermometer, I've never noticed any issues shooting between invironments. They're great for finding dead or misfiring cylinders, or hot/cold spots in an engine.

Good thing HF is over 60 miles from me.

I hate going to HF - too easy to spend money there.

So I have a friend go for me.  He works close to HF, and he like going into HF.

He only monday thru thursday, so we miss out on the week-end specials.

Now you will have to wait until you get the next coupon so that you can buy a new tool box to put your new tools in :D

That is a HUGE trap! Are you trying to catch a buffalo or something?---LOL!

I need to get a list together and get to HF also, and one of the thermometers will be on it. The welding supply shop I get my gasses at is a bit cheaper than HF so I buy it there.

Unless something comes up, Teresa & I will be going to Harbor Freight in Somerset, Ky tomorrow.  I have to go within 40 minutes of HF to pick up some Massey Ferguson tractor parts (MF2745 needs pto seals), so a great time to go onto Somerset & spend the afternoon.  I love going even if I don't find anything to bring home.

If you break up your purchase into several small purchases and checkout several times, you can use several freebie coupons. I like the flashlights best. The multi meters have worked well for me. Check their clearance items, I've gotten some great clearance deals. Good Luck, Rick

No Sears here nomo, so..., and I can't afford Snapp-On stuff nomo. I just watch what I buy from China freight. I try not to bust the Crapsman, or Strapon tools I already own!

Let us know how the micro torch works. I could use one of those.

HF just opened a new store to the north of  me, now I have one 15 minutes away. plan my shopping accordingly.

Main reason for that micro torch is for soldering lugs on large wires. Not sure what else I may use it for. But I'll let you folks know when I use it.
