From what I read in the past the go-kart people are getting good service from these engines.

I've had a 13 Hp Predator in my resurrected Massey since Dec 2011.  It has been my regular mower the last 5 years, not just my  lot but my neighbor's yard and several hundred yards of road frontage.  My issues have been with the foam air filter, the in tank fuel filter getting dirty, and the carburetor got some trash in it.

All issues were eventually fixed thanks to the internet.

I read your info while doing mine and it was of help too. I did away with the foam air filter and adapted the HH120 type element to it. Glad it has given you this many years of service. It helps my confidence that this engine may last quite a long time!

Never had a problem with them, have one on my snow blower, roto-tiller and on a 1967 sears super 12. Always
start and good on gas and very quiet! I have heard these engines are made in China for Honda as a cheaper replacement engine. My next project is a 1968 sears super 12 and will be repowered with a predator engine.
