I like that it has all those attachments but where did they come up with a price for the set I could see maybe $1200 obo for everything

I am sorry that you have to make fun and criticize the price of the Sears Suburban tractor and attachments. Did you ever stop to think that maybe that is a hoping price. That maybe the seller has priced it high in hopes to get some offers. Why do most people low ball themselves? Then after they sell something they turn around and complain that they should have asked for more.

It is wise to price it a little high to give yourself bargaining room. However, ridiculously high just drives them away. They will figure they can't talk sense with you.

I guess it never hurts to ask.

 

Instead of collecting weed whackers you might look into larger tractors.  This weekend I'm seeing 8N and 9N tractors for garden tractor money.
